How it works

Add a song
Search the playlist first. If the artist isn't there, add your pick. One song only — make it count.

Make it count
Your track represents that artist forever — or until someone replaces it. Every pick should mean something.

Challenge anything
Think you have a better pick? Post your challenge in Discord with a reason. Make your case — that's the fun part.

The group votes
24-hour poll. Simple majority wins. A tie means the original stays. Democracy, but for music taste.

The rulebook

Here's how it works.

Adding a song

Submit via Discord.

  • Find your song in Spotify → tap ••• → Share → Copy Link
  • Paste the link in #song-submissions in Discord
  • The bot checks for duplicate artists automatically
  • Approved songs are added to the playlist for you — don't edit Spotify directly
  • Ask yourself first: "Is this the song to introduce them?"
  • One entry per solo artist or band — no duplicates via features or remixes

Challenging a song

Think You Can Do Better?

  • Anyone can challenge any song with a specific replacement
  • Post in #challenges — current vs. proposed + a 1–2 sentence reason
  • 24-hour vote. Simple majority wins. Tie → original stays.
  • Same person can't re-challenge with the same song
  • Questions about the rules? #everybody-wants-to-rule-the-playlist
